The Large Group
An analytic Large Group creates a place for an emotional interactive matrix of all the participants and the conductors. The participants of the Large Group are invited to share their feelings, thoughts and fantasies. They share their individual and collective universe. Most of what is shared is unconscious. The focus of the Large Group work lies on reducing the unconscious in order to understand more about oneself, the group and the dynamic created by the theme "A Way from the Gates of Auschwitz".
The Large Group and its conductors will provide a Safe Space in which freedom of expression is made progressively possible. Keeping the communication as free and as constructive as possible is one of the aims of the Large Group.
While the Large Group is engaged in the past and present, the process itself creates the future - of individuals, of the group and the subject the group is dealing with.
This Large Group is led by two group analysts – a German and an Israeli, and together they will accompany the group on its journey, exploring and elaborating the subject of this conference.
